Q. - Do the quilts withstand several washings?  top
A. - Yes. The fabric, batting, and muslin backing are very durable.

Q. - Does the floss fade on the embroidered items as time passes?  top
A. - No. The floss does not fade over time due to washing or daylight.

Q. - Does the batting knot up after washing?  top
A. - No, the batting I use is bonded polyester batting and retains its form.

Q. - Are all parts of the quilts done by hand?  top
A. - The little pieces are sewn together using a sewing machine (commonly referred to as being machine pieced). The appliqué, embroidery, and quilting is done completely by hand.

Q. - How did you get started in quilting?  top
A. - When I was a child I watched my grandmother quilt on a large frame where you could quilt on all sides at one time and it took a large room to do this. I loved watching her and she would tell me how important it was to stitch through the complete quilt and to make sure that each stitch was the same size. Once in a while she would let me make a few stitches, which I loved doing. And I still love doing it today.

A. - Due to the handmade nature of my products, minor variations in design, stitching, size, and color may occur.
