All of my quilts are made of high quality 100% cotton fabric and the embroidery blocks are 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The little pieces are sewn together using a sewing machine (commonly referred to as being machine pieced). The appliqué, embroidery, and quilting (using polyester batting) is done completely by hand. The quilt backs are cotton fabric. Some of the backs are large pieces of fabric and some are small pieces that were machine pieced to create checker boards and other designs.
